How overtime is paid in Mexico in 2026

Ordinary weekly hours remain 48 in 2026. The May 2026 reform moves toward 40 hours only gradually through 2030.

The first 9 extra hours in a week are paid at double the ordinary hourly rate. Hours above that weekly cap are paid at triple.
