Gross salary is the contracted amount before ISR and IMSS. In Mexico it is usually quoted monthly.

Does this include IMSS?

Yes. The employee branches of IMSS are deducted. Employer contributions are not taken from the worker and appear in the employee-cost calculator.

Does this include ISR?

Yes. ISR is calculated with the official 2026 period table and the employment subsidy where the worker qualifies.

Is the result exact?

It is an estimate for a standard employee. Payroll systems may differ on contribution days, exemptions, and extra benefits.

Which year's rates are used?

Rule year 2026. UMA changes on 1 February, so January pay uses the 2025 UMA for subsidy and IMSS caps.
